New government surely to make justice for son's murder: Sayed's father
Sheikh Hasina fled the country after resigning from the post of Prime Minister of Bangladesh. For that, common people of all professions of the country came down in groups to cheer the victory. Maqbul Hossain, the father of Abu Sayed, who was shot by the police in Rangpur while protesting quota reform, is in that queue. Along with pleasure, there is also pain.
In an interview given to the media, Abu Sayed's father said, 'I feel very good about the resignation of the murderous government, everyone in our family is happy.' But the pain is that I am a father who has lost a son, it is difficult to accept. Since yesterday, many people have been coming home to see my son's grave and to see us.
He also said, surely the new government will come, then I will get proper justice for the murder of my son. Pray for us.
Sayed is the youngest child of father Maqbul Hossain. Among his brothers and sisters, he was ahead in his studies. Other brothers and sisters work in agriculture as they do not have much education. Run a family by driving the van. Some work in garments. Abu Saeed was the last asset of his parents. By studying he will reduce the suffering of the family. Father used to tell his brothers, let's see Sayed will get a big job. Our respect will increase. But his father's hope was not fulfilled.
Abu Sayed, a student of Begum Rokeya University's English department, died in Rangpur on July 16 after joining the quota reform movement. The next day around 10:30 am, he was buried near his house in Nalipara village, Babanpur.
