Interim Government to do everything to establish justice: UN
Stephane Dujarric, spokesperson of the UN Secretary General, believes that the interim government will do everything possible to establish justice in Bangladesh.
He said, we have no doubt that the interim government of Bangladesh has taken charge of the country in a politically and humanitarianly challenging situation.
He said these in the regular press briefing on Monday (August 26).
Stephane Dujarric also said, there is no doubt because all the state institutions of Bangladesh have become corrupt during the tenure of the former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. Management of the country has become a serious challenge for the new interim government.
In response to a journalist's question, Stephane Dujarric said, 'We have no doubt that the interim government of Bangladesh has taken charge of the country amid challenging political and humanitarian conditions. We hope they will do everything possible to follow the rule of law and justice.
Bangladesh's former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina fell in a historic coup on August 5. Due to the establishment of a dictatorship in the country for more than 15 consecutive years, she was forced to leave power and flee to India due to the anger of the students.
