7-day remand granted for Inu and 6-day for Menon

The Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal (Jasad) president and former minister Hasanul Haque Inu has been remanded for 7 days in a case of businessman Abdul Wadud in Newmarket area of ​​Dhaka.

Hasanul Haque Inu was brought to court by the police on Tuesday (August 27). After that, he was requested to be remanded for 10 days for proper investigation of the case. After the hearing, Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Ali Haider granted 7-day remand.

Earlier on Monday (August 26) afternoon, a team of DB arrested Inu from a house at Uttara.

Meanwhile, the court granted a 6-day remand to Workers' Party president Rashed Khan Menon in the case of Garment worker Rubel's murder filed at Adabor police station in the capital.

Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Saifur Rahman granted the remand after the hearing on Tuesday (August 27).
