Interim govt. to be given reasonable time for elections: Fakhrul

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said the interim government will be given reasonable time in an acceptable election ceremony in the country. The people of this country waiting for the election.

He said this while addressing the chief guest at the public meeting and distribution of relief to the flood-affected people at Choto Sharifpur school grounds of Cumilla's Lalmai upazila on Saturday (August 31).

Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir also said that there is no room for troublemakers in BNP. Those who tamper with the name of the party will be handed over to the law enforcement agencies.

BNP Secretary General also said during the fascist government, many BNP leaders and workers have been disappeared and murdered with numerous false cases filed against them.

Commenting that a circle is plotting to destroy the victory of the students, the BNP leader said they are creating divisions among themselves by promoting these things in various media.

At this time, he called for strengthening the hand of Tarique Rahman to consolidate democracy.
