BNP leader Tarique Rahman recently spoke on the pressing need for country-wide reforms, calling on the interim government to prioritize programs that bring tangible improvements to citizens’ lives.

He emphasized that BNP has consistently championed forward-thinking reforms aimed at transforming Bangladesh and uplifting its people.Rahman shared his views on reform initiatives by the interim government today through his verified X handle.

Rahman highlighted that reforms are essential to ensure Bangladesh remains competitive globally across multiple sectors. Yet, he emphasized that true reform must be rooted in improving the lives of the country's ordinary citizens.

“Having started my political work from the grassroots, I believe reforms should be about enabling millions of Bangladeshis to live better lives, fostering hope for a brighter future for their children, and driving meaningful change throughout the nation,” he stated.

Rahman’s vision for reform includes creating employment opportunities, protecting the freedoms and rights of women, children, and minorities, ensuring public safety, improving education for the next generation, and providing essential healthcare services.

These reforms, he argued, should be geared towards building a society grounded in equality, justice, and fairness.
