Interim government’s Chief Advisor, Dr. Muhammad Yunus, stated that civilization is at risk due to climate change.

The Chief Advisor remarked, "We, the human inhabitants of this planet, are the cause of its destruction. We are doing this knowingly. We have chosen a way of life that works against the environment, justifying it with an economic structure. This economic framework is driving us toward ruin."

He further added, "The climate crisis is intensifying. Our civilization is at a severe risk because we are promoting self-destructive values. To lay the foundation for a self-preserving and self-sustaining new civilization, we must organize our intellectual, financial, and youth resources."

Dr. Yunus emphasized that to survive, we need to cultivate a different culture based on a different lifestyle, which will rely on a zero-waste model. This model will limit consumption to necessary needs, leaving no waste. Additionally, this lifestyle will be based on zero-carbon principles, relying not on fossil fuels but solely on renewable energy.

He also elaborated, "This will be an economy based primarily on zero personal profit, i.e., social business. Social business is defined as a non-profit venture aimed at solving social and environmental issues. A substantial part of social business will focus on protecting the environment and humanity. Affordable healthcare and education will not only secure lives but also enhance quality. It will facilitate youth entrepreneurship, preparing young people through entrepreneurial education, replacing the job-seeking mentality with an entrepreneurial approach."

Advising the youth to adopt the 'Three Zeros' principle, the Chief Advisor said, "A new lifestyle is necessary for environmental security, and it will not be imposed on anyone. People will willingly choose it, and young people will prefer this lifestyle. Every young person will grow up as a 'Three Zeros' individual—achieving zero net carbon emissions, zero wealth concentration, and zero unemployment by creating only social businesses and transforming themselves into entrepreneurs. Each person will grow as a Three Zeros individual and continue this throughout life. This will build a new civilization."

He concluded, "What we must do is adopt a new lifestyle that aligns with the planet's safety and harmony with all its inhabitants. And this will be done by today's young generation, who love their planet."

Earlier, on November 11, Dr. Yunus and his entourage landed in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, to attend the climate conference.
