If Election Delayed, More Problems to Increase: Mirza Fakhrul
BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir commented that the longer the interim government stays, the more problems will arise. He said that the interim government is not an elected government, they have no mandate.
He stated this at a discussion meeting organized at the National Press Club on the occasion of Maulana Abdul Hamid Khan Bhashani's 48th death anniversary on Monday (November 18).
Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said that BNP is disappointed because there is no election road map in the chief advisor's speech on the occasion of 100 days of the government.
He said people will doubt if the election is delayed. The problem will increase. Whether the BNP comes to power or not, elections will solve half of the problem. BNP is still supporting this government, not obstructing it in any way.
He also thinks that reformation is not possible by placing the associates of fascism in the secretariat.
