Badiul Alam said that those who committed electoral crimes in the last three elections should be punished. The biggest crime was committed by the Election Commission. Some did not tell the truth intentionally in the last three elections. Some were forced not to tell the truth.
Regarding the new Election Commission, the head of the Reform Commission said that the tree is the result of its identity. There is no big challenge for this EC. Because, unlike last time, there is no pressure from the ruling political party.
In addition, the head of the Reform Commission, Badiul Alam Majumdar, commented that it is not possible for a neutral Election Commission (EC) to organize fair elections without the help of the government.
The reform commission chief also commented that ensuring the participation of women voters and expatriate voters could be a challenge for the Election Commission. Reforming the electoral system is important. However, time must be given for reform.
