Cold Wave up Ahead, May Continue Throughout Month

A cold wave has started on Friday (December 13) as cold winds from the Himalayas have entered the country. Initially, the cold wave affected three districts, but today it has spread to four districts.

This information was provided in the regular forecast of the weather office on Saturday (December 14).

It has been stated that a mild cold wave is sweeping through the districts of Panchagarh, Rajshahi, Jessore, and Chuadanga, and it may continue. The night temperatures across the country may drop slightly, while day temperatures may increase slightly. Over the next few days, moderate to dense fog may occur in parts of the country from midnight to noon.

When will the cold wave end? - In response to this question, meteorologist Tariful Neowaz Kabir said that from Sunday (December 15), day temperatures may rise for two days. However, during this period, moderate to dense fog may occur in parts of the country from midnight to noon.

On Saturday, the lowest temperature recorded in the country was 8.7°C in Chuadanga. The temperature in Dhaka on this day was 16°C in the morning.
