Inquilab Mancha has staged a sit-in in front of the residence of the interim government's Chief Advisor, Dr Muhammad Yunus, at Jamuna, with a three-point demand, including ensuring the safety of students and citizens who participated in the July-August Revolution.

On Sunday (December 22), the organization began a march from the Shahbagh National Museum in the capital after holding a brief rally. Around 1:00 pm, the activists took position in front of State Guest House Jamuna.

During the rally, speakers said, "A storm is raging on social media— "Who are you, who are we!" Before making such statements, think of those who have allowed you to speak. Ensure the safety of those who participated in the movement; otherwise, this revolution will not last long." They urged all political parties to speak up for the safety of the revolutionaries' lives.

Inquilab Mancha's three-point demand is as follows:

  • Cancellation of the Awami League's registration.
  • Arrest of all members of Awami League committees at all levels to prevent secret killings of revolutionaries.
  • Ensuring the safety of all fighters of the July Revolution, including those in private universities.
