Nationwide Campaign on July Proclamation from January 6 to 11
The Anti-Discrimination Student Movement has announced a nationwide program to generate public opinion about the 'July Proclamation'.
From January 6 to January 11, the organization will conduct activities such as distributing leaflets, holding rallies, and engaging in public outreach regarding the 'July Proclamation'. The National Citizens' Committee will cooperate in these efforts.
At a press conference held today (January 4) at the central office of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement in Banglamotor, the movement's convener, Hasnat Abdullah, announced the program. He stated that on December 31, during the 'March for Unity' at the Shaheed Minar, demand for the July Revolution Proclamation by January 15 was raised, and an interim government declared support for it. He believes this demand will reflect the aspirations of the entire nation.
Hasnat Abdullah further mentioned that the fascist government has silenced the voices of the people, and now they wish to reach the people. They will carry out extensive public outreach among educational institutions and professionals. This work will be jointly carried out by the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement and the National Citizens' Committee.
He pointed out that the government has not made any visible progress regarding the 'July Proclamation', and therefore, dialogue with all stakeholders in the country is necessary. He urged the government to immediately begin work on this important issue, stating that they are ready to work with the government's support.
