A mild cold wave is currently sweeping through several northern districts of Bangladesh, including Dinajpur and Panchagarh. Over the next three days, the cold wave is likely to spread to more areas, with a further drop in temperature across the country, increasing the intensity of winter.

According to the latest bulletin issued by the Bangladesh Meteorological Department on Saturday (January 25), the following information has been shared:
From 9:00 am Saturday to the next 24 hours, the forecast indicates that the weather across the country is likely to remain dry with partly cloudy skies in some areas. Moderate to dense fog may form in certain areas from midnight until morning and could persist until noon in some regions. Dense fog may temporarily disrupt air travel, inland river transport, and road communication.

Additionally, a mild cold wave is sweeping through the Dinajpur and Panchagarh districts and may extend to other areas. Night temperatures are expected to drop by 1-2°C across the country, while daytime temperatures are likely to remain mostly unchanged.
