The Election Commission (EC) delegation team led by Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) has reached at the Bangabhaban to discuss about the eleventh national parliament election with President Mohammad Abdul Hamid.
After 3:30 pm under leadership of CEC KM Nurul Huda the other four Election Commissioners Mahbub Talukder, Rafiqul Islam, Kabita Khanam, Shahadat Hossain and EC Secretary Helal Uddin Ahmed entered the Bangabhaban.
The schedule for eleventh parliamentary election and the probable date for the election will be upheld during their visit to the President.
After their visit with the President another meeting will be held at the commission on Saturday. Election Schedule will be finalized in that meeting. After getting nod about the schedule in the commission meeting CEC KM Nurul Huda will declare it in his address to the nation over BTV and Bangladesh Betar.
Before tenth parliament election the then Election Commissioners led by the then CEC visited the President on November 19, 2013. Then the election schedule was declared within one week on November 25.
