Third Phase of Bishwa Ijtema to Conclude with Final Prayer at Noon

The final day's program of the third phase of the Bishwa Ijtema is underway. On Sunday (February 16), the day's activities began with the Aam Bayan (general sermon) after the Fajr prayer. The Akheri Munajat (final prayer) is scheduled to start by noon, led by Maulana Yusuf Bin Saad, the eldest son of Maulana Saad Kandhalvi from India.

According to Mohammad Sayem, the coordinator of the Saad followers' Tablighi Jamaat for the Bishwa Ijtema, Maulana Yusuf Bin Saad will begin his sermon on guidance at 9:30 a.m. on Sunday, which will be translated into Bengali by Maulana Munir Bin Yusuf. The Akheri Munajat will commence immediately after the sermon.

Meanwhile, on the occasion of the final prayer of this phase of the Ijtema, the Dhaka-Mymensingh Highway in the Tongi area has been reopened for vehicular movement.

The previous day, Gazipur Metropolitan Police Commissioner Dr. Md. Nazmul Karim Khan announced this in a press briefing.

During the briefing on Saturday, he mentioned, "So far, the traffic system is smooth and operational, and vehicles are moving properly. We aim to maintain this situation on the day of the Akheri Munajat as well. We want to keep public life moving and the roads free of traffic jams. We intend to keep the roads clear this time as well. No one will be allowed to sit or stand on the roads. It is expected that vehicular movement on all roads and highways in Tongi will remain normal on the day of the Munajat."

Background
The second phase of the Bishwa Ijtema (Saad followers) began on February 14. Earlier, the two phases of the first part of the Ijtema, organized by the Zubair followers, were held at the same venue from January 31 to February 5.
