Members of the Council of Advisers have officially kicked off a week-long public awareness campaign regarding the upcoming referendum on the July Charter.

The interim government advisers, specifically those tasked with election monitoring and assistance, began the outreach program today, January 15.

The campaign is designed to travel through various districts to educate the public on the core importance, objectives, and procedural steps of the referendum.

According to a press release from the Chief Adviser’s Press Wing, the initiative will run until January 21.

Throughout this period, advisers will hold exchange-of-views sessions with diverse groups, including civil society representatives, local administration officials, and professionals from all walks of life, to encourage active participation in the vote.

Leading the first day of the campaign, Local Government Adviser Adilur Rahman Khan visited Chattogram today.

During his visit, he is scheduled to attend several programs and hold meetings with key local officials to discuss the transition and the referendum process.
