The Election Commission (EC) has finalized the voter list for the upcoming 13th National Parliament Election and the Referendum, revealing that 6,28,85,525 women are eligible to exercise their franchise on February 12.

This significant demographic forms a core part of the 12,77,11,899 total registered voters across the country.

According to the official breakdown, the electorate also includes 6,48,25,154 male voters and 1,220 individuals from the hijra community, reflecting a comprehensive effort to ensure inclusive participation in this pivotal democratic process.

The distribution of voters across the 300 constituencies shows significant variation in size and density.

Gazipur-2 stands as the largest constituency in terms of the electorate, boasting 804,333 registered voters while Jhalakathi-1 recorded the lowest count with 228,431 voters.

To manage the logistical challenges of such a massive turnout, the EC is deploying approximately 800,000 officials to oversee polling stations and administrative duties.

Security remains a top priority for the interim administration as the nation prepares for the double-header of a parliamentary election and a constitutional referendum.

Nearly 900,000 members of various law enforcement agencies, including the police, Ansar, and other security forces, will be stationed nationwide to maintain order and ensure a safe environment for voters.

With the campaign period drawing to a close, these measures aim to facilitate a smooth and transparent voting process for over 12.77 crore citizens.
