According to Prime Minister’s Additional Press Secretary Atiqur Rahman Rumon, the visit served as a formal engagement between the heads of the armed forces and the new administration.

Upon his arrival at the Secretariat earlier in the day, Prime Minister Tarique Rahman was formally received by Cabinet Secretary Dr. Nasimul Ghani and Principal Secretary ABM Abdus Sattar.

This high-level meeting underscores the ongoing coordination between the civil government and the military leadership within the Cabinet Division framework.
