Indian High Commissioner to Bangladesh Pranay Verma paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Tarique Rahman on Monday, focusing on strengthening the bilateral relationship between the two neighboring nations.

The meeting took place at the Prime Minister’s Office within the Bangladesh Secretariat this morning.

During the discussion, both leaders touched upon various issues of mutual interest, emphasizing regional stability and economic cooperation.

A press release from the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) confirmed that the dialogue was aimed at further solidifying the diplomatic ties between Dhaka and New Delhi.

The meeting was attended by Foreign Minister Dr. Khalilur Rahman and the Prime Minister's Adviser for Foreign Affairs, Humaiun Kobir.

The visit is seen as part of a series of high-level engagements as the new administration continues to coordinate with international partners on trade and regional security.
