Prime Minister Tarique Rahman toured the Investors Expo hosted by the Foreign Investors' Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) on Thursday prior to joining the international forum titled "FICCI FDI Conference 2026: Driving Foreign Investment for Jobs and Prosperity in Bangladesh."

The day-long exhibition and conference launched this morning at the Bangladesh-China Friendship Conference Center (BCFCC) in the capital, aiming to boost foreign direct investment (FDI) to generate employment opportunities and foster economic growth across Bangladesh.

While visiting the venue, the Prime Minister inspected various display stalls and held discussions with delegates representing local as well as overseas corporate entities.

Organizers highlighted that as Bangladesh prepares to transition out of the Least Developed Country (LDC) classification, the nation is simultaneously ramping up initiatives to draw higher volumes of foreign direct investment.
