He further disclosed that international investors have expressed interest in funding the postal department, voicing optimism that service standards, earnings, and operational capacity will continue to climb moving forward.
Turning to the Rooppur Nuclear Power Plant, the minister indicated that both domestic and foreign specialists are working to bring the installation online.
He explained that the government is focused on completing required evaluations and technical tests prior to feeding power into the national grid, stressing that all technical protocols and verification criteria must be meticulously addressed.
Speaking directly to postal department personnel, the minister observed that acknowledging and assessing employee performance serves as a key motivator, emphasizing that awards should consistently be conferred based on merit and work efficiency while highlighting the need to evaluate post offices and personnel functioning at the grassroots level.
Attending as a special guest, Posts and Telecommunications Division Secretary Bilquis Jahan Rimi asserted that the postal department's current physical setup and wide-reaching national network ought to be leveraged to deliver modern, citizen-oriented, and tech-driven postal solutions.

The secretary additionally underlined the necessity of utilizing social media platforms more effectively to market postal offerings, while urging the inclusion of new talent in upcoming recognition programs.
Director General of the Department of Posts Kazi Asadul Islam chaired the ceremony.
