An agreement was signed between Regent hospital authority and Health Directorate over coronavirus test and treatment. Later forgery was detected over the hospital’s activity and the organization was sealed. In this regard the health ministry wanted explanation from the Director General of health directorate Professor Abul Kalam Azad.
On July 12, the show cause notice was served. It wanted information regarding what was meant by higher officers of the health ministry and what matters were considered before signing the agreement with Regent.
The letter said, there is scope for signing an agreement after visiting the hospital, verifying given permission of running hospital, analyzing the lab facilities, testing equipments and manpower. It also wanted explanation within next three working days over the considering matters of signing agreement with Regent, steps taken for performing the conditions and directions and the meaning of the higher authority of health ministry.
