To monitor the law and order situation in the capital, the Interim Government’s Home Affairs Advisor, Lieutenant General (Retd.) Md. Jahangir Alam Chowdhury, has been making surprise visits to several police stations.
On Monday (March 10) at dawn, he visited multiple police stations in the capital, spoke with on-duty officers, and provided necessary directives.
Confirming the matter, the Public Relations Officer of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Faisal Hasan, told the media that the Home Affairs Advisor visited Tejgaon, Kalabagan, Shahbagh, and New Market police stations (in order).
Earlier, on February 26 at dawn, Jahangir Alam had undertaken a similar surprise police station inspection.
