Metro rail services will be suspended on Eid day but will operate as usual on the following days.
On Saturday (March 29), Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited (DMTCL) announced this on its verified Facebook page.
According to the statement, metro rail operations will remain closed only on the day of Eid-ul-Fitr 2025. However, services will resume as per the regular schedule on the subsequent days.
DMTCL authorities confirmed that, similar to last year, metro services will not be available on Eid day. From the day after Eid, trains will follow their usual timetable, and the Ramadan schedule will no longer be in effect.
