Pakistan's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar is set to visit Dhaka on a two-day official trip from April 27 to 28.
The announcement was made by Bangladesh Foreign Secretary Md Jasim Uddin during a media briefing on Thursday (April 17). He confirmed that the dates for the visit were finalized during the foreign secretary-level talks held earlier in the day between Bangladesh and Pakistan.
The meeting took place at the State Guest House Padma, where both delegations discussed various bilateral issues, with particular emphasis on trade relations.
During the visit, Pakistan's Foreign Secretary Amna Baloch also paid a courtesy call on Bangladesh's Foreign Affairs Adviser Md Touhid Hossain. Speaking to reporters afterward, Baloch expressed her satisfaction with the visit, saying, "I'm happy to be in Dhaka. The food was great, the shopping was enjoyable, and the discussions were productive."
