
Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has sent a letter wishing a speedy recovery to BNP Chairperson and former Prime Minister Khaleda Zia, who is currently undergoing treatment in the hospital.
In the letter, sent on Saturday (November 29), he wrote: "I have learned with deep concern about your (Khaleda Zia’s) recent illness. On behalf of the Government and the people of Pakistan, and on my own behalf, I extend our sincere prayers and best wishes for your swift and complete recovery."

"Your exceptional contributions to the development of Bangladesh are widely recognized. We deeply value your role in furthering the strong fraternal relationship between Bangladesh and Pakistan."
The Prime Minister of Pakistan further wrote in the letter, "I pray to Almighty Allah that you are quickly and completely restored to good health so that you may continue to serve as a source of strength and guidance for your party and your great nation."
