Chief Adviser Dr. Muhammad Yunus has observed that election campaigning across the country is proceeding in an enthusiastic and cordial atmosphere.
He noted a significant positive shift in the nation’s political culture, highlighting the absence of abusive language or indecent behavior among candidates.
The remarks were shared by Press Secretary Shafiqul Alam on Saturday night (February 7) following a high-profile meeting at the state guest house, Jamuna.

According to the Press Secretary, Dr. Yunus expressed his satisfaction with the disciplined nature of the current campaigns.
The meeting focused on overall election preparedness and the nationwide law and order situation. Dr. Yunus reportedly expressed his satisfaction with the progress made by the interim government and the Election Commission, though he acknowledged that ensuring a "perfect" and fair vote remains the ultimate challenge.

The Chief Adviser emphasized his hope that the upcoming election would be a "memorable" event, with men and women participating in a festive spirit. To ensure security, an "Election Security App" has been launched, designed to send instant alerts to the Election Commission and law enforcement if any disturbances occur.

Clarifications on Observers and Logistics
The Press Secretary noted that several countries, including India and Pakistan, have expressed interest in the implementation and processing of postal ballots.
Addressing recent concerns, it was announced that the Election Commission has suspended the issuance of observer cards to an organization named "PASHA" following allegations and concerns regarding its capacity and neutrality.
The national election is scheduled to take place on February 12.
