Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has extended his congratulations to the newly elected Prime Minister, Tarique Rahman. The news was confirmed in a report by the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) on Wednesday (February 18).

According to the report, the Crown Prince sent a formal message of congratulations to Tarique Rahman following his swearing-in as the Prime Minister of Bangladesh. He further congratulated him on the formation of the new government under his leadership.

The Saudi Crown Prince expressed his well-wishes for the continued progress and prosperity of the people of Bangladesh.

On Tuesday (February 17), the BNP formed a 50-member cabinet led by Prime Minister Tarique Rahman. The new administration includes 25 full ministers and 24 ministers of state who took their oaths of office.
