Prime Minister and BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman has warned party leaders and activists that he will cease visiting his office if road closures continue to cause public distress.
He emphasized that no actions should be taken that obstruct the movement of ordinary citizens.
Speaking to a large gathering of supporters in front of the party's central office in Nayapaltan on Saturday night (March 28), the Prime Minister issued a stern warning.
"Do Not Block the Roads"
Addressing the crowd, Tarique Rahman said, "Roads cannot be blocked like this. We must be able to come to the office normally so that everything functions as usual. I intend to return to the office, but it will be impossible for me to come if the roads are closed. Am I making myself clear? Roads must remain open."
The BNP Chairman cautioned activists that his presence at the Paltan office depends on maintaining a normal environment. "If you want to see me at the Paltan office, the surroundings must remain orderly. No obstacles can be placed in the way of people's movement. The roads must be cleared within the next 30 minutes," he added.
A Call for Discipline and Patience
Reminding supporters of the nation's expectations, the Prime Minister urged leaders and activists across the country to stand by the people while staying within the bounds of the law.

"We must refrain from any actions that cause hardship or inconvenience to the public. The country faces many challenges; we must support the people and help them maintain patience," he stated.
Concluding his remarks, Tarique Rahman instructed the gathered crowd to clear the path. "Everyone, please move to the left and open the road. If you cooperate, I will be able to visit the office regularly; otherwise, I cannot. We certainly do not want to be the cause of problems for the people of this country."
