The Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) is set to hold an exchange of views meeting today with its organizational leaders for the first time since achieving an absolute majority in the 13th National Parliamentary Election.

The party’s Chairman and Prime Minister, Tarique Rahman, will attend the session, marking the BNP’s official return to organizational programs after a hiatus of more than five months. The day-long meeting is scheduled to begin at 10:00 AM today, Saturday, at the Krishibid Institution in the capital.

Strengthening Organizational Roots
BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi inspected the preparations at the venue yesterday. He confirmed that the meeting will bring together the presidents and general secretaries of the district and city units of the BNP, as well as its three affiliate organizations: Jubo Dal, Chhatra Dal, and Sechchasebak Dal.

"Prime Minister and BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman will participate as the chief guest," Rizvi told reporters. He added that the party's Secretary General and other senior leaders will also be in attendance.

Governance and Policy Review
The meeting will serve as a platform for grassroots leaders from across the country to share their perspectives on organizational matters and government initiatives. Key highlights of the session include:

Field Feedback: District leaders will present their views on the party’s current standing and the government's performance.

Ministerial Briefings: Concerned ministers are expected to present detailed analyses and updates on the steps the government has taken and implemented during its first few months in office.

A New Strategic Direction
According to party insiders, the primary objective of the meeting is to re-engage activists in organizational work and revitalize the party structure.

Beyond internal restructuring, the BNP aims to use this gathering to send a strategic message to opposing political parties as it solidifies its governance.
