UN Secretary-General António Guterres, who is on a four-day visit to Bangladesh, is scheduled to meet with the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) today, if all goes according to plan.
Shayrul Kabir Khan, a member of the BNP Media Cell, confirmed this information on Friday (March 14th).
He said, "The meeting will take place at Hotel InterContinental in Dhaka at 1:00 PM on Saturday (March 15th)."
Shayrul Kabir Khan further stated that BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir and other party representatives will participate in the meeting with António Guterres.
Earlier, on Thursday (March 13th) at 5:00 PM, UN Secretary-General António Guterres arrived in Dhaka. He was welcomed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in the capital by Foreign Advisor to the interim government, Mr. Touhid Hossain.
