The Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) has announced the date for the release of its election manifesto ahead of the upcoming 13th National Parliamentary Election.
The party will formally present its long-term development plans and public welfare-oriented manifesto to the nation on Friday (February 6).
Professor Dr. Moudud Hossain Alamgir Pavel, convener of the BNP Media Cell, confirmed the information to the media on Wednesday evening (February 4).
Earlier, during a special press conference in the capital, Dhaka, Mahdi Amin—spokesperson for the BNP’s Central Election Steering Committee and Political Advisor to the BNP Chairman—stated that all theoretical and practical work on the manifesto has been successfully completed.
He remarked that as a people-oriented political party, the BNP has spent considerable time listening to the grievances and expectations of people from various professions and backgrounds.
The final manifesto reflects this direct public participation and feedback, which the party believes will add a new dimension to the country's politics.
Mahdi Amin further added that the manifesto was drafted based on the core foundations of the party's proposed "31-point" and "27-point" state reform plans.
It takes into account the experience gained from nationwide programs and the necessity of improving the living standards of grassroots people. Key focus areas include employment for the youth, farmers' rights, good governance, and economic stability.
