
In the lead-up to the upcoming 13th National Parliamentary Election, BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman and Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman are set to address the nation.
Their speeches will be broadcast live on Bangladesh Television (BTV).
According to the schedule, BTV will air the Jamaat Ameer’s speech between 6:00 PM and 7:00 PM on Monday (February 9), followed by Tarique Rahman’s address between 7:00 PM and 8:00 PM.
Additionally, a speech by Maulana Mamunul Huq, Ameer of Bangladesh Khelafat Majlis, is also slated for broadcast.
Earlier on Sunday, speeches by NCP Convener Nahid Islam and Islami Andolan Bangladesh Ameer Mufti Syed Muhammad Rezaul Karim (Peer of Charmonai) were aired on the state broadcaster.
Security and Judicial Oversight
To ensure a free, fair, neutral, and peaceful election, the Army and other law enforcement agencies have begun field operations. Furthermore, starting Tuesday, 657 judges will be deployed nationwide to provide summary trials for election-related offenses.

The election will be closely watched by approximately 400 international observers and 50,000 local observers, alongside a significant presence of foreign journalists.
The total number of registered voters for the 13th National Election stands at 127,711,793. The demographic breakdown is as follows: Male Voters: 64,825,361, Female Voters: 62,885,200, Third Gender Voters: 1,232.
