Police hunt culprit in cable-throwing incident: Metro rail

The police are looking for a person who threw a dish cable on metro rail electric wires, which caused services to be suspended for around 15 minutes.


The services of trains resumed around 15 minutes later at about 12:28pm on Tuesday (Jan 23),


MAN Siddique, managing director of Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited (DMTCL), said a cable had been hurled on metro rail electric wires from a building located somewhere between Farmgate and Shahbag, adding that the police were searching for the individual responsible.
