Massive Fire Erupts at Hazaribagh Leather Warehouse

A massive fire broke out at a leather warehouse in the capital's Hazaribagh market area. Upon receiving the news, 12 units of the Fire Service have arrived at the scene and are working to bring the fire under control.

The incident occurred on Friday afternoon (January 17) on the 5th floor of a seven-story building.

Confirming the matter, Lima Khanam, the Duty Officer of the Fire Service Headquarters, said that a fire broke out this afternoon at a tannery warehouse in the Hazaribagh market. The incident took place on the 5th floor of a seven-story building. 12 units of the Fire Service are working at the scene. Efforts are underway to bring the fire under control.

Initially, it is suspected that chemicals might be present in this leather warehouse. However, no confirmed information has been received yet.

Additionally, no reports have been found of anyone being trapped inside the building, according to the Fire Service official.
