
The country's total foreign exchange reserves have risen to $32.62 billion (32,624.87 million), according to the central bank.

Recent Trends
The reserves saw an uptick following the settlement of Asian Clearing Union (ACU) bills for November and December.
As of January 8, the gross reserves stood at $32.43 billion (32,439.51 million), while the BPM6-compliant reserves were at $27.84 billion (27,845.38 million).
Note: Net or "actual" reserves are calculated based on the IMF’s BPM6 manual by subtracting short-term liabilities from the total gross reserves.
