Ratan Tata's Funeral: Aamir Khan, Kiran Rao Pay Last Respect to Icon

Ratan Tata passed away at Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai aged 86 on Wednesday. On Monday, he shared that he was going to the hospital for an age-related check-up.
Bollywood actor Aamir Khan along with his former wife and director Kiran Rao arrived at Mumbai’s National Centre for the Performing Arts (NCPA) to pay respects to Ratan Tata, who passed away on Wednesday at the age of 86. The actor said he will always be cherished for his contribution to the country.
Aamir arrives
On Thursday afternoon, Aamir was spotted arriving to pay his last respects to Ratan Tata with his ex-wife. He was seen wearing a grey short kurta along with black pants, while Kiran wore a white top with black trousers.
He was seen merging in the crowd to pay his respects to Ratan Tata. They were in a somber mood.
While exiting the venue, Aamir shared his tribute to the icon, saying, “Today is a sad day for all of us, and the whole country. What he has done for the nation through his company under his leadership is priceless. He was a rare person. We all will miss him a lot”.
Kiran also spoke to the media stationed outside the venue and remembered spending time with him. “We were lucky to spend some time with him. He was a good soul, and he is no longer with us. He has done a lot for us”.
Ratan Tata dies
On Wednesday, Ratan Tata, chairman of the Tata group for over two decades, died at 11.30 pm at Breach Candy Hospital in south Mumbai. A Padma Vibhushan recipient, he had been in intensive care at the hospital since Monday. Early on Monday, he posted a note on social media asserting there was no cause for concern regarding his health and that he was undergoing check-ups for age-related medical conditions amid reports of his admission to a hospital.
Ratan Tata's body was on Thursday morning taken from his house in a hearse, decked with white flowers, to the NCPA in south Mumbai where it would be kept for people to pay their last respects. His last rites will be performed at Mumbai’s Worli Crematorium. He was accorded a state funeral by Maharashtra.

About Action Replayy
Action Replayy was a science-fiction romantic comedy film. Apart from Akshay, Aishwarya, and Aditya, the movie also featured Neha Dhupia, Om Puri, Kirron Kher, Rannvijay Singh, Rajpal Yadav, Randhir Kapoor, and Gopi Bhalla as pivotal characters. The sci-fi film was co-written by Suresh Nair and Aatish Kapadia and produced by Vipul (Shah). Action Replayy was based on the concept of time travel similar to Hollywood's 1985 movie Back to the Future. However, Vipul insisted that it was an adaptation of a Gujarati play of the same name and of H. G. Wells's The Time Machine.
Ashish Sharma's acting career
Ashish made his television debut with Gunahon Ka Devta (2010-2011). His first Bollywood film was Dibakar Banerjee's anthology-drama Love, Sex Aur Dhokha. He later featured in films like Zindagi Tere Naam (2012) and Hindutva (2022). He has worked in popular television shows such as Chandragupta Maurya (2011-2012), Punar Vivaah (2012), Rangrasiya (2013-2014), Siya Ke Ram (2015-2016) and Prithvi Vallabh (2018).

'Squid Game' Season 2 Teaser: Seong Gi-hun Seeks Revenge
Netflix dropped a new teaser on September 19 for Season 2 of Squid Game. The streamer released the clip as part of its Geeked Week event in Atlanta.
The clip opens with a clearly tense Seong Gi-hun (Lee Jung-jae) holding a gun on an approaching masked figure. It quickly shifts to the new participants preparing to begin a new life-or-death game. A voiceover saying "We're ready to start the game" in Korean is the only word spoken.
Season 2 takes place three years after Gi-hun wins Squid Game, giving up on going to the States and coming back with a new resolution in his mind. He once again dives into the mysterious survival game, starting another life-or-death game with new participants gathered to win the prize of 45.6 billion won.
Creator Hwang Dong-hyuk previously told Deadline that the new season will see Gi-hun seeking revenge, entering the game as a different, more serious character.
Squid Game became Netflix's most popular series of all time with a record 1.65 billion views in the first 28 days following its 2021 premiere. Jung-jae became the first Asian man to win Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series, as well as the first to win the award for a non-English show and Hwang Dong-hyuk became the first Asian person to win an Emmy Award for Outstanding Directing for a Drama Series.
"It's been almost three years since Season 1 was met with incredible response around the world and many unimaginable events took place," Dong-hyuk wrote in a letter when the Season 2 premiere date was announced. "On the first day, we began shooting Season 2, I remember thinking, "Wow, I can't believe I'm back in the world of Squid Game." It almost felt surreal. I wonder how it will feel for you to be back in Squid Game after three years as well."
He added, "Seong Gi-hun who vowed revenge at the end of Season 1 returns and joins the game again. Will he succeed in getting his revenge? Front Man doesn't seem to be an easy opponent this time either. The fierce clash between their two worlds will continue into the series finale with Season 3, which will be brought to you next year. I am thrilled to see that the seed that was planted in creating a new Squid Game grows and bears fruit through the end of this story. We’ll do our best to make sure we bring you yet another thrill ride."
Squid Game Season 2 premiere:
Season 2 of Squid Game will premiere December 26 on Netflix. The third and final season will be released in 2025.

Chiranjeevi Secures Guinness World Records
Southern industry megastar K Chiranjeevi. He has proved his acting skills by working in numerous movies in his career. Recently he entered the Guinness Book of World Records.
In Hyderabad on Sunday, megastar Chiranjeevi was honored with a Guinness World Records certificate for being the most prolific actor in the Indian film industry.
In a special event organized on September 22, the Guinness authorities handed over the certificate to the actor with prestigious recognition.
According to the source of the Indian media report NDTV, Chiranjeevi has performed 24 thousand dances of 537 songs in 156 movies in a long career of 45 years. He stepped on the silver screen on September 22, 1978.
Basically, for this reason, the Guinness authorities chose September 22 to award the certificate. Apart from Chiranjeevi, Bollywood actor Aamir Khan and Guinness World Records judge Richard Stenning were also present as guests at the ceremony.
After receiving the certificate, Chiranjeevi said, "This moment is not to be forgotten. I have never sought recognition from Guinness World Records. But they honored me for dancing, it's incredible! Dance has really made me a star and has brought me many awards throughout my career."
Explaining the awarding of this certificate, Richard Stenning said, "After a thorough review of 156 films and the dance performances of those films, we are officially awarding this."
Incidentally, this year he was honored with the award Padma Vibhushan, India's second-highest civilian award, recognizing his exceptional contributions to the arts, alongside legendary actress Vyjayanthimala. In 2006, Chiranjeevi had previously received the Padma Bhushan for his contributions to Indian cinema. Chiranjeevi's real name is Shiva Shankar Vara Prasad.
Director Rinku Detained from Gulshan
Bangladesh's flourishing television drama industry was jolted last Monday night when the police detained renowned director Rafat Mojumder Rinku. Rinku was taken into custody from Dhaka's Gulshan area.
Gulshan Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Touhid Alam confirmed that Rinku has been arrested as a suspect, although the reason for the detention is unclear. A source close to the director confirmed to the media that several of his industry colleagues and friends are at the police station to inquire about Rinku's well-being and condition.
Rinku has been producing dramas regularly for a long time. His works reflect the contemporary social reality and are particularly popular among the youth. His story-telling style and the subject matter are very impressive.
Meanwhile, after hearing the news of Rinku's arrest, actor Khairul Bashar said in a Facebook post on social media, "I believe and I know that director Rafat Mojumdar Rinku can never cause harm to anyone. Those who know Rinku should know it well."
