In the video, Aishwarya Rai could be seen inspiring women to not fall prey to street harassment. "Street harassment, how to deal with it? Avoid eye contact? No. Look the problem directly in the eyes. Hold your head high. Feminine and feminist. My body, my worth. Never compromise your worth. Do not doubt yourself. Stand up for your worth. Don't blame your dress or your lipstick. Street harassment is never your fault," she said in the video promoting the campaign.
Aishwarya Rai's video is going viral, especially amid growing rumors surrounding her divorce from Abhishek Bachchan. Recently, the actress again grabbed headlines as she shared photos from her daughter Aaradhya's birthday bash sans Bachchan family members, including her husband.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan's divorce rumors first started in July this year when the actress attended the high-profile event of Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani's son Anant Ambani's wedding with Radhika Merchant without the Bachchan family, arriving solo with her daughter Aaradhya.

Actress Shomi Kaiser Arrested in High-Profile Defamation Case
Actress Shomi Kaiser was arrested by the police. On Tuesday night (November 5), she was detained by the Uttara West Police Station from Uttara, the capital city. Deputy Police Commissioner (DC) of the Uttara Division, Rownak Jahan, confirmed the arrest.
On October 14, a defamation lawsuit worth 100 crore taka was filed against Shomi Kaiser in the Magura Chief Judicial Magistrate's Court. The case alleges that she made derogatory comments about BNP founder and former President Ziaur Rahman at various times.
Shomi Kaiser was born in 1970. Her father’s name is Shahidullah Kaiser, and her mother’s name is Panna Kaiser. Her mother, Panna, is a writer and former Member of Parliament.
Shomi Kaiser began her television acting career in the late 1980s with the drama "Ke Ba Apan Ke Ba Por," directed by Atikul Haque Chowdhury. Shortly after, she starred in a three-episode series titled "Joto Dure Jai," directed by Abdullah Al Mamun.
Some of her notable works include the dramas Nokhotrer Raat, Chhoto Chhoto Dheu, Sparsho, Ekjon Ariyana, Akash E Aneka Raat, Mukti, Ontore Nirontor, Shopno, Thikana, Porichoy, and Shomporko, which have all gained widespread popularity.
Lease Canceled for Rezwana Choudhury Bannya’s 'Surer Dhara' Land
The government has canceled the lease of land for the music institution 'Surer Dhara,' founded by Rabindra Sangeet artist Rezwana Choudhury Bannya, located on the Ramchandrapur canal in Mohammadpur, Dhaka.
This directive was issued in a letter signed by Md. Aminur Rahman, Deputy Secretary of the Khas Land-1 Branch of the Ministry of Land, on Thursday, November 7.
The letter states that the long-term lease of 0.5120 acres of land, including 0.1700 acres from plot number CS and SA-692, RS-1895, City-11667, and 0.3420 acres from plot number 11412 in the Ramchandrapur area under Mohammadpur Police Station, has been canceled. This cancellation is due to the land being recorded as 'canal' in the CS and RS records.
The ministry has also requested the Dhaka District Commissioner to take appropriate action regarding this matter and submit a report to the Ministry of Land.
Notably, Rezwana Choudhury Bannya established 'Surer Dhara' in 1992. During the tenure of a previous government, a plot near the Ramchandrapur embankment in Mohammadpur was allocated for operating the school of 'Surer Dhara.'

While Arjun Kapoor is being lauded for his role as Danger Lanka in Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again, the actor recently revealed that he was not in love with cinema when he shot the film. Arjun said that he was in the worst phase of his life. Back then, the actor had delivered a string of flops and was also dealing with his breakup from Malaika Arora.
Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, Arjun said, “When I signed this film, I was going through the worst phase of my life, personally, professionally, emotionally, mentally, and physically… Rohit sir had told me, ‘I need you to be in the look because we will shoot with you whenever possible’. I just took that as a stepping stone towards my personal development as well."
After Salman, Shah Rukh Khan Receives Death Threat
Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has received a threat call, Mumbai police said on Thursday.
The caller was unknown, but the threat was allegedly from a criminal gang led by Lawrence Bishnoi, said police from the western Indian city of Mumbai, where the actor resides.
The caller demanded 50 million Indian rupees (about €550,000, $592,600) from the 58-year-old actor and also threatened a lyricist who had written a song that mentions Salman and Bishnoi. Authorities said an investigation is underway.
A threat was also made against the actor on Tuesday. Police arrested the accused, identified as Bhikha Ram, a daily wage worker from Rajasthan.
"The accused was watching a regional news channel when he suddenly called the Mumbai Police control room and issued a death threat to Salman Khan. He is a daily wage worker and claims to be a fan of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi," police told PTI news agency, adding that they were investigating further.
Bishnoi, who was a wanted gangster in India, has been behind bars since 2015. Nevertheless, investigators believe he operates a gang with several members across India who are involved in extortion, smuggling drugs and weapons, and murders.
In 2018, Bishnoi threatened Salman for allegedly poaching two blackbuck antelopes which is a sacred species to the Bishnoi community, to which Lawrence Bishnoi belongs.
He was believed to be the mastermind behind the killing of Mumbai politician Baba Siddique last month, who was close to Salman.
Bishnoi is also believed to be behind the murder of popular Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala in 2022.
Shah Rukh Khan also receives a threat
Another Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan also received a threat on Tuesday, asking for a ransom of 5 million Indian rupees. The caller identified himself as "Hindustani" or "Indian" and said he would kill Shah Rukh unless the ransom was paid.
The Hindustan Times reported that the caller did not have the actor's number and called the local Bandra police station near the actor's residence instead.
The two Khans are not related.
Police traced the number to a lawyer who claimed his phone had been stolen earlier.
Shah Rukh's security had been upgraded in 2023 due to threats over his recent films, Pathaan and Jawan.
Grammy Awards: Beyonce Breaks Record For Most Nominations
Beyonce became the most Grammy-nominated artist of all time after the Recording Academy announced its nominations on Friday.
Beating her husband Jay-Z's record of 88 nominations, Beyonce has a whopping 99 nods under her belt, thanks to her first country album "Cowboy Carter," which she released last spring.
The album earned the 43-year-old megastar 11 nominations, putting her in the lead of all other artists competing this year.
The award ceremony will take place on February 2 in Los Angeles.
Who else cut?
Billie Eilish, Charli XCX, Kendrick Lamar, and Post Malone closely followed Beyonce, each snatching seven nominations.
Meanwhile Taylor Swift, Chappell Roan, and Sabrina Carpenter scored six nominations each. The latter two are competing for the closely watched best new artist category, among others.
Women dominated the album of the year category.
Swift's "The Tortured Poets Department," Charli XCX's "BRAT," Carpenter's "Short 'n' Sweet," Roan's "The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess" and Eilish's "Hit me Hard and Soft" are among the albums competing with Beyonce's. Other artists vying for the prestigious category include Andre 3000 and Jacob Collier.
But perhaps the most unexpected nomination came from The Beatles. The legendary English band is competing in the top record category with "Now and Then," a track reconstituted using Artificial Intelligence based on John Lennon's rough demo.
Beyonce's complicated relationship with the academy
Despite a lead in Grammy nominations and wins, an unrivaled 32, Beyonce has never been awarded the album trophy, the academy's most prestigious category. Artists who snatched the award from her include Adele, Harry Styles, and Taylor Swift.
Jay-Z called out the academy during a speech in the last award ceremony earlier this year, arguing that its voters had failed to give Black artists proper recognition.
Some 13,000 singers, songwriters, producers, engineers, and others make up the Recording Academy and end up choosing the winners of its awards annually.
Following years of criticism over its choices, and accusations of racism, the academy has taken steps to diversify its ranks. It has boasted that 38% of its decision-makers were people of color, which is a 65% increase since 2019.
Experts and fans view "Cowboy Carter" as a reclamation and homage to Black Americans' often overlooked legacy within country music and culture.
The album became the first by a Black woman to land at No. 1 on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart. It was, nevertheless, snubbed for the Country Music Awards.
Taylor Swift, Jimin, and Sabrina Carpenter Triumph at 2024 MTV EMAs
The 2024 MTV Europe Music Awards brought together the biggest names in music at Manchester’s Co-op Live arena, with Taylor Swift, BTS’s Jimin, and Sabrina Carpenter leading the winners.
Although Swift couldn’t attend, she won several awards, including Best Artist, Best Live, Best US Act, and Best Video for Fortnight, her popular track with Post Malone. In a video message, Taylor praised Post as "an incredible co-star."
South African singer Tyla claimed three awards: Best Afrobeats, Best R&B, and Best African Act, delivering a crowd-pleasing medley of Push 2 Start and Water with lively dancers. Sabrina Carpenter took home Best Song for Espresso, while Ariana Grande was awarded Best Pop.
Jimin from BTS earned the Best K-Pop award, while Lisa won Biggest Fans and Best Collaboration with Rosalia for New Woman. Despite several nominations, Billie Eilish and Charli XCX left the night empty-handed.
Other notable winners included Calvin Harris (Best Electronic), Eminem (Best Hip-Hop), and Busta Rhymes, who received the Global Icon award. The star-studded evening included a tribute to former One Direction member Liam Payne.
Tisha Congratulates Farooki As Cultural Adviser in Interim Govt
Actor Nusrat Imrose Tisha congratulated her husband Director Mostofa Sarwar Farooki on Sunday (November 10) as the president swore him Cultural Adviser in the Muhammad Yunus-led interim government.
Tisha shared a video of the swearing-in ceremony at Bangabhaban on Facebook and Instagram saying: "Congratulations on this new journey. Alhamdulillah." Tisha was also present at the event.

Farooki has gained fame by Directing films and dramas for more than two and a half decades. He is the director of 'Television', 'Doob', 'Third Person Singular Number', 'Made in Bangladesh', 'Bachelor' and so on. He raised his voice in favor of the mass uprising of the students.
