A terrifying incident unfolded on the set of Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi's upcoming film.
During the filming of an action sequence, a car suspended from a crane flipped mid-air and crashed onto a parked van below.
The vehicle hurtled dangerously close to the actor's face, allowing him to narrowly avoid a major accident. However, it remains unconfirmed whether anyone sustained injuries during the mishap.
According to a report by Indian news outlet NDTV, the incident occurred while shooting the climax scene for Emraan Hashmi's upcoming film Gunmaster G9.
A recently released behind-the-scenes video shows a crane-hoisted car flipping mid-air before crashing onto a black van parked below.
The falling vehicle came dangerously close to Hashmi's face. It is still unclear whether this was part of a pre-planned stunt sequence or if control was lost during filming.
The filmmakers have not yet issued an official statement regarding the matter.
This is not the first time the film's production has drawn attention. Earlier in June, tension flared among locals during shooting in Haridwar, Uttarakhand.
Some residents mistook a set built to resemble a bar for an actual bar, leading to public outrage. The situation was later resolved through discussions.
Producer Deepak Mukut clarified at the time that there was no intention to offend anyone. He noted that filming was being conducted with necessary permits and that the issue was resolved after speaking with the local community.
Directed by Aditya Datt, the action-romantic film Gunmaster G9 stars Genelia D'Souza, Aparshakti Khurana, and Abhishek Singh alongside Emraan Hashmi.
The film is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on November 27, 2026.
Hashmi was last seen in Awarapan 2, and this hazardous stunt on the set of his latest project has once again brought the actor into the spotlight.
