Following a shooting incident targeting Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff, a group claiming links to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang has issued a fresh warning, threatening that anyone in Mumbai's film industry who ignores their directives or works with actor Salman Khan could become their next target.

However, Mumbai Police have not yet confirmed any official link between the Bishnoi gang and the attack.

According to a report by the Hindustan Times, an individual named Anil Pandit claimed responsibility for the attack on Tiger Shroff on behalf of himself and Harman Sandhu in a post published on social media.

The post claimed that the actor had previously been warned over the phone, and alleged that he was being taught a lesson for failing to heed those warnings.

The post issued a further threat stating that anyone in Mumbai's film industry who refuses to listen to them or continues working with Salman Khan could face a similar fate.

However, the authenticity of the claims made in the social media post could not be independently verified.

On Sunday evening (October 18), three unidentified attackers opened fire at Tiger Shroff as he was returning after playing football in Mumbai's Juhu area.

According to preliminary information, the shooting took place near Pushpa Park while the actor was preparing to get into his BMW vehicle.

Police reported that several people, including Tiger’s driver Firdous, sustained injuries during the incident.

However, the report provided no confirmation on whether the actor himself was struck by gunfire.

Police and emergency services arrived at the scene shortly after the incident, cordoning off the area and launching a search operation to trace the attackers.

Ballistic experts gathered shell casings from the scene while investigators began reviewing nearby CCTV footage.

The incident follows a previous shooting outside the home of filmmaker Rohit Shetty in Juhu, as well as the fatal shooting of politician Baba Siddique in Mumbai in October 2024.

This series of events has heightened security concerns within Bollywood.

Authorities stated that the true motive behind the attack on Tiger Shroff will become clear only after further investigation.
