The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) categorized all four of these recent demises as suspected measles deaths.

Following these occurrences, the aggregate count of presumptive measles fatalities climbed to 868, whereas confirmed casualties attributed to measles held steady at 99.

An additional three children perish presenting measles-like symptoms.

Altogether, 1,151 fresh presumptive measles incidents were documented throughout the 24-hour duration, lifting the cumulative tally of suspected occurrences nationwide to 156,829.

Concurrently, 365 newly verified measles instances were logged, pushing the overall volume of laboratory-validated infections to 19,218.

Commencing from March 15 of this year, a cumulative 137,347 patients exhibiting suspected measles have been admitted to medical facilities across the realm, among whom 132,292 have recuperated, per information furnished by the DGHS.
