Dengue Toll Rises to 97 with Four New Deaths and 1,163 Hospitalisations

Four people passed away due to dengue, whilst 1,163 fresh sufferers were admitted to hospitals nationwide across the 24 hours leading up to 8 am on Monday.

Accounting for the most recent demises, the dengue mortality count has attained 97 within the country throughout the current year, per data from the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

The latest fatalities were documented inside the Dhaka South City Corporation, the Dhaka North City Corporation, alongside the Mymensingh division, the report stated.

Six More Children Die of Suspected Measles, Total Casualties Reach 973

Commencing from January 1 of this year, an aggregate of 35,846 dengue patients have been hospitalized across the country.

Out of that total, 33,205 have been released following recovery.
