4 More Die of Dengue as Nationwide Hospitalizations Reach 1,558 in 24 Hours

Four individuals succumbed to dengue while 1,558 fresh patients were admitted to hospitals nationwide throughout the 24-hour period leading up to 8 am on Sunday.

With these most recent casualties, the overall dengue mortality count has climbed to 117 across the nation during the current year, as per data released by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

The latest fatalities were recorded within the jurisdictions of the Dhaka South City Corporation and the broader Dhaka division.

Beginning January 1 of this year, a cumulative total of 42,590 dengue sufferers have sought hospital admission across the country.

Among them, 39,479 individuals have successfully recovered and been released from medical facilities.
