36 Killed in Israeli Strikes Across Lebanon on Monday

The Lebanese health ministry said on Tuesday that 36 people were killed and 150 others injured in Israeli airstrikes across the country on Monday.

This brings the total of those killed to 2,119, in addition to 10,019 injured, in the year since the conflict began, according to Lebanon’s Crisis Response Unit.

Meanwhile, Lebanese state news agency NNA reported significant damage caused by strikes on southern Beirut, where at least four apartment blocks have collapsed.

The neighborhoods in the south of the capital are considered strongholds of the Iran-backed militant group Hezbollah, which Israel says it is targeting.
