44 More Palestinians Killed in Israeli Strikes
Another 44 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli attacks on Gaza, pushing the death toll to over 43,550. Since the attacks began last October, over 100,000 Palestinians have also been injured.
The Gaza Health Ministry provided these figures in a report from Anadolu Agency on Saturday (November 9). The report states that in the last 24 hours alone, 44 Palestinians have lost their lives due to ongoing Israeli strikes. Many people remain trapped under rubble or on roads as rescuers struggle to reach them.
Since last October, the total death count in Gaza has reached 43,552. Relentless Israeli assaults have injured at least 102,765 more, with over 10,000 people still missing under the debris.
According to the UN, 85% of Gaza’s population faces displacement due to severe shortages of food, clean water, and medicine, while 60% of the territory's infrastructure has been damaged or destroyed.
The International Court of Justice has accused Israel of genocide. In January, it issued an interim order demanding Tel Aviv cease genocidal acts and ensure humanitarian aid for Gaza’s civilians. However, the strikes continue, and aid remains inadequate to address the humanitarian crisis.
Notably, on October 7, Hamas launched a surprise attack across Gaza’s Erez border into Israel, killing 1,200 people and taking 242 hostages, after which Israeli forces began bombing Gaza.
