Iran has launched a massive retaliatory military operation across the Gulf region in response to recent U.S. and Israeli strikes.

The escalating conflict has resulted in the deaths of at least three expatriates and left 58 others injured in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), according to official confirmations.

Reports from The Times of Israel and the UAE’s Khaleej Times identify the deceased as citizens of Bangladesh, Pakistan, and Nepal.

Mass Missile and Drone Interceptions
In an emergency statement, the UAE Ministry of Defense reported detecting a total of 165 ballistic missiles launched from Iran.

The UAE’s air defense systems successfully intercepted and destroyed 152 of those missiles. Additionally, Emirati forces downed two high-powered cruise missiles mid-flight.

Despite the high interception rate, authorities believe some debris or unintercepted projectiles struck residential areas, leading to the casualties.

The Ministry further detailed a massive swarm of aerial threats:

• Drones Detected: 541 Iranian drones were identified on radar.
• Drones Neutralized: 506 drones were successfully intercepted and destroyed in mid-air.

The Ministry of Defense emphasized that its advanced interceptor systems remain on high alert. Officials reaffirmed their commitment to securing the nation's airspace and protecting its sovereignty against any further aggression.
