Iran Threatens to Target U.S. Tech Giants; Orders Evacuations

Iran has issued a stern warning of imminent strikes against leading American technology corporations, instructing employees and nearby residents to evacuate to safer locations immediately.

The report, published Tuesday (March 31) by Al Jazeera, cites the Iranian state-run Tasnim News Agency.

In a formal statement, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) declared that U.S.-based information technology and Artificial Intelligence (AI) companies have played a pivotal role in surveillance and identifying targets for "terrorist activities."

Consequently, the IRGC announced it now considers these firms "legitimate targets."

The IRGC has scheduled the strikes to begin tomorrow, April 1, at 8:00 PM local time, targeting more than 15 specific companies. The list of targets reportedly includes industry giants such as:

Google
Meta
Apple
Tesla
Boeing

To minimize potential casualties and loss of life, the IRGC has urged all staff members and civilians residing near these corporate facilities to vacate the areas ahead of the deadline.
