Saudi Arabia has introduced a new "Package Visa" pilot program aimed at simplifying the travel process for international visitors.

This initiative allows tourists to secure their travel visa as part of an integrated package that bundles flight tickets, accommodation, and various other travel services.

According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) as reported by Gulf News, the project is being rolled out through select travel service providers in chosen countries.

By using this integrated approach, travelers can manage their visa applications alongside their travel arrangements through a single platform.

Seamless Travel Experience
The new package includes:

• Round-trip airfare.
• Accommodation in licensed hotels or verified lodging.
• Streamlined electronic visa application.

Visitors also have the flexibility to customize their trips by adding various events, entertainment activities, and guided tours of popular attractions.

This centralized system eliminates the hassle of managing individual bookings for flights, hotels, and visas separately.

Only authorized travel agents with the necessary digital infrastructure, technological capabilities, and 24/7 customer support are permitted to offer this service.

Vision 2030 and Tourism Expansion
This "Package Visa" is a strategic component of Saudi Arabia’s "Vision 2030" plan, which seeks to significantly expand the nation's tourism sector.

The initiative is a collaborative effort involving the Ministry of Tourism, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Interior, and the insurance authorities.

Saudi Minister of Tourism, Ahmed Al-Khateeb, stated that the initiative is another step toward ensuring a smooth and comfortable travel experience for visitors.

"Through the Package Visa, we are moving to the next level," said Minister Al-Khateeb. "We are empowering our travel and tourism partners, simplifying the journey for visitors, and creating a smarter, more seamless way to enjoy Saudi Arabia."
