Iran has launched a major retaliatory military operation across the Middle East in response to recent U.S. strikes.

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) claims to have conducted extensive missile and drone attacks targeting "enemy bases" in the region.

According to Iran’s state-affiliated Noor News, the Iranian military and the IRGC targeted identified positions after monitoring "hostile movements" over the past 48 hours.

An Iranian military official stated that this operation serves as a direct response to recent, sustained U.S. attacks on Iranian interests.

Strikes Across the Gulf Region
The IRGC has released a series of statements outlining the scope of their offensive:

Jordan: The IRGC claims to have struck the Prince Hassan Airbase with missiles and drones, alleging that the attacks ignited multiple fuel depots and ammunition storage facilities.

Bahrain: In a second phase of the operation, the IRGC claims to have targeted the Sheikh Isa Airbase. According to their statement, the IRGC Aerospace Force hit a helicopter maintenance center, a hangar housing a P-8 surveillance aircraft, and a command-and-control center used for U.S. military drones.

Kuwait: The IRGC further asserts that it attacked two airbases in Kuwait. They claim to have destroyed fuel storage tanks and a Patriot air defense system at the Ali Al Salem Airbase, alongside strikes on a strategic FPS radar system at the Ahmed Al Jaber Airbase.

The IRGC characterized these actions as the initial stages of a broader retaliatory campaign, stating that their military operations against the U.S. presence in the region remain ongoing.
