Iran's armed forces stated on Friday that they conducted drone attacks on several American military installations across Bahrain, Jordan and Kuwait in response to recent US strikes targeting the Islamic Republic.

According to a military announcement broadcast on state television, "This morning, the fuel tanks, large equipment warehouses and silos and the barracks of the US terrorist army forces at the Isa Air Base in Bahrain were targeted by Arash kamikaze drones."

Following the announcement, an AFP journalist based in Bahrain reported hearing an explosion alongside the sounding of air-raid sirens on Friday morning, though it remained unconfirmed whether the incidents were directly linked to the reported strikes.

The Iranian army additionally claimed it launched drones aimed at Jordan's Al-Azraq installation, asserting that the strike targeted "aircraft hangars, aviation maintenance hangars and a barracks".

Jordanian officials have not reported any strikes in recent hours.

In a secondary statement, Iran's army said it deployed drones against American equipment storage facilities at Camp Udairi as well as US troop quarters located at Camp Doha and Camp Arifjan in Kuwait.

Simultaneously, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), the ideological branch of the Iranian military, announced that it struck Kuwait's Ali Al Salem Air Base, claiming the attack destroyed an ammunition depot and resulted in casualties among US military personnel.

Tehran maintains that any regional facility or base utilized by the US military to launch strikes against Iranian territory is viewed as a legitimate target for retaliation.
