Four nuclear-armed nations—China, Russia, India, and Pakistan—have joined forces alongside six other influential states to challenge Washington's dominance and unilateral hegemony in global geopolitics.

This emerging polarization of international diplomacy became evident at the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) summit held in the capital of Kyrgyzstan.

In a joint communique, the nations strongly condemned US-Israeli military aggression in Iran and unilateral Western sanctions imposed on various member states.

According to Al Jazeera, the "Bishkek Declaration," adopted at the conclusion of the summit, establishes a firm stance against Washington's economic and military policies.

The statement was signed by Chinese President Xi Jinping, Russian President Vladimir Putin, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. Alongside the four nuclear powers, six other member states—Iran, Belarus, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, and Kyrgyzstan—extended their full support.

The declaration sharply criticized recent joint military strikes by the US and Israel against Iran. SCO leaders stated that these attacks constitute a grave violation of international law and the UN Charter, posing an extreme threat to global peace.

Expressing collective condolences over widespread civilian casualties and the death of Iran's then-Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, the ten-nation economic and security bloc reaffirmed its support for Iran's territorial integrity.

Highlighting the Palestinian issue, SCO leaders asserted that Israeli aggression in Gaza and Palestinian territories is the root cause of instability across West Asia, noting that long-term peace in the Middle East is impossible without a just resolution to the Palestinian crisis.

The summit also targeted American economic weaponry and sanction policies. The bloc directly opposed US-led Western unilateral economic coercion against Russia, Iran, and other countries, enacted without regard for World Trade Organization (WTO) and United Nations regulations. According to the leaders, Washington's policies are destabilizing the global economy.
